In today’s world it can be very hard to get motivated.
Whether you have a boss or teacher who is constantly accusing you of doing what they
told you to do, or you bed it to warm and comfortable to get out of, it can be
hard to get motivated. So, today I am going to help you with that, so welcome to...

#1

Start Small

Each day set a small goal for yourself.
Even if this is to just brush your teeth.
Though I do not like the word, “Just” when you are unmotivated it can be hard to do the smallest things. If you complete your first task and you do not feel completely drained
and you want to take it up a notch, you can do something like; go for a walk.
Going outside can be very therapeutic.

Reward yourself

When you meet your goal reward yourself.
This can be with a little piece of chocolate, or a new game.
This is very helpful for me because it gives me a motivating reason to do something.
Make sure the reward is something motivating to you, or else you won’t want to do it.

#3

Get people to support you/Surround

yourself with good people

Group of female friends enjoying outdoors on city street stock photoIt is very important to surround yourself with people who care about you and you care
about, people who will support you and will help you. This is very important because they can push
you a little harder than you will push yourself (in most cases) to get things done and to get out of bed.

#4
Make a vision board
A vision board does not need to be pretty you can just tape pictures on your wall if you want. This just consist of pictures that motivate you. This could be a piece of clothing you want when you save up enough money, your pet, or anything that is motivating to you. It can also be a goal, for example it could be an image of an A+, a college you want to go to or whatever you want.

Count your blessings
Counting your blessings is very important for a good mental health. You don't need to be religious to count your blessings, just think of things you are thankful for. This really shows you how much you have and how many people you care about. This also give you more gratitude, and gratitude has so many health benefits like better sleep and higher self esteem

#6

Just start

I know that starting can seem like a daunting task, but you will feel so much better once you start.
Sometimes being unmotivated can just be not wanting to start. Not in all cases though,
so just try this one out and see if it works. If you have an assignment do that you just can't seem
to start, just try it for five minutes and see what happens.

Look up motivating quotes

Motivating quotes can be very important to your health, because they can give you a sense of hope.
You could put this on your vision board so whenever you need it you can look up. You could also do some
digging and find out what famous people had to go through get to where they are now. It is always
good to know that we are not alone in our struggles and that other people also had struggles getting

#8
Have some fun

Everyone needs time to just kick up their feet, or just have some fun. This is very helpful because it reminds
you what you like and why you get out of bed. Everybody deserves a break from this stressful world. So,
go out be happy spend some time with friends, and be yourself.

Thank you for reading this far. I hope you are good, and that things get better if you are feeling bad.
-Bee you :)

The Guardian of Vake

The Guardian Of Vake

I looked into the mirror like any ordinary Sunday before church.
I twisted and turned as I looked at myself in the mirror.
Then as I was still admiring my reflection as I was turning, my reflection stopped.
It reached out to me as I was standing still.
I was pulled through a vortex that looking back reminds me of alice in wonderland.
I Felt like my whole life was flashing before my very eyes.
Then suddenly it all stopped I saw an identical version of me.
Then I looked around, there were dark circles like I had been staring at the sun for too long.
I was in a cave. A gray dull, yet bright, cave. “Why is it so bright in here?” I thought.
I observed my surroundings more.
There were glittering stones.
I stepped forward and I started falling again,
though it was only for a moment because I face planted on the cold ground.
There was an implant from where I feel. I dusted myself off and reach for a glittering stone.
I grabbed it.
The earth shook.
“What have you done!” Yelled my twin.
I jumped forgetting she was even there.
“Run! We need to run!” She shouted again.
I did not feel like dying that specific day so I ran with he.
Still holding the pink crystal.
We ran a good 100 meters when boulders came down blocking our path.
We both started to shove them out of the way.
“Who are you?” I panted.
“I am a much smarter version of you.”
“Where are we?”
“Vace. It is a planet in a different universe than yours.”
“Rake? What? What is happening?”
“Stop asking you puny mortal questions and shove these rocks out of the way!”
“W-”
“ROCKS!”
We kept digging at the rocks for quite some time until I cut myself. My pointer finger was bleeding
profusely.
“OW!” I cried.
Other me started to mumble something about stupid, useless, mortels.
Then I fell to the floor and face planted (again).
I turned myself over and saw bright golden light.
It faded away.
I look back up at the “Clearly superior” me and I felt the wind get knocked out of me.
Her short brown ponytail was transformed into long golden braids down her shoulders.
Her purple sundress was turned into a long white dress with embroidered flowers.
“You’re-You're-You’re a-”
“Yes, yes. Your peny mind.
Yet not as peny as most, most can’t even see me in this state.
So, yes your are slightly more intelligent than I first thought.”
“Who-what”
“So, your people call me a goddess.”
“Ima-your”
“Ah, A loss for words. Yah, that makes sense.
Like I have said before I am you from a different universe.
So I am NOT you, and you are not me.”
Her eyes widen. “Why do you have that stone. Get rid of it NOW”
The ground started to shake.
“Why”
“Get rid of it now you have no idea.
It messes with the balance of Vace’s ecosistem.”
I held onto it tightening my grip.
“My family is renting a house we could sell this to bye a permanent home!”
“It will be worth nothing in your world!”
“No why should I trust you!”
“I could vaporize you!”
“Bu-bu”
“The goddess's eyes started to light up.”
“Take it” I said still not feeling like dying.
“I can’t touch it. It would mess up the balance of Vake.”
“Then what do I do with it?”
“Put it back where you found it!”
I did not want to be titled,Norah Ferguson Killer of Planets, so I did as she told.
I probably ran faster than when I stole money from my brother’s piggy bank.
I looked for where I feel into the cave. The implant was gone!
In fact the whole cave was different. It felt more cramt.
I yelled, “NORAH NORAH!” It felt strange calling my own name.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The goddess looked around, She should be back by now, She thought.
She looked around, then she came to the realization that she never told Norah
that the cave shrinks when there is a disturbance, She ran out the entrance.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“NORAH! NORAH!” I keep yelling, my voice echoed in the empty cave.
I heard footsteps coming. I take out my sharp pink crystal in case it was a murder.
“Take it easy it is just me.” The goddess.
Her fluorescent glow making her come out of the darkness much sooner than a mortal.
“Oh, ok you scared me.”
“No one else can come into this cave unless they are a goddess
or a ga-” Her thoughts cut her off.
“Or a what”
“No no it can’t be” The goddess mumbled.
“I am a WHAT!?!” I screamed
I looked down at my feet about to apologize for losing my temper and,
I was not on the ground. I was hovering a  good foot or so above the ground.
I almost fell backwards.
“A guardian of Vake.”

"What does that mean?!"
"Are you sure that you were born on Earth?" Said the goddess
"Of course! There are pictures of my mom holding me when I was born"
"There was only one other recorded case of a guardian being born on Earth. So, It is possible."
"What does it mean?"
"You were born with the purpose to protect Vake."
"How do I do that?"
"You will find out in time, it is YOUR job so YOU need to find out YOU need to do to protect our planet."
"But, what about my family on Earth? They must be worried sick!"
"No. When you came into the vortex everyone on Earth lost all worry about you. You are still apart of their memory, just out of their concern."
The ground shook.
"I know what I have to do."

Thank you so much for reading this far! If you want a continuation let me know!
(Vake is pronounced like rake.)

How to speak Dolphin: Review

How to Speak Dolphin
My favorite book of all time is How to Speak Dolphin by Ginny Rorby.
It is a book about a little boy who has low functioning autism.
The main character is his sister. Adam loves dolphins so they start a dolphin therapy program. His sister does not like the fact that the dolphin is in captivity so she tries to set her free.
It is a tear jerking adventure that really speaks to me because my brother is high functioning.
You get to see a lot of character development from all the characters and all of their emotions are understandable, explainable, and feel so real. The vocabulary is not challenging, so anyone can pick it up and read it. Yet, it takes a deep understanding to fulling pick up on all of the topics, this makes this book great for everyone. If this book sounds interesting to you please cheak it out here https://www.amazon.com/How-Speak-Dolphin-Ginny-Rorby/dp/054567607X
Now I will get into spoilers.
Lily meets a girl in the park who is blind. I love how Rorby picks characters that really help you to embrace your differences. Yet, she really makes sure to show the character's flaws. She perfectly captures how Zoe can feel isolated and unaware because she can not see.How Adam has a hard time navigating the world. And how Lily can feel crushed by the burdens of her life. It really makes the characters resonate with you long after you read this book.
Lily lost her mom in a car crash. The way the book describes her agonising loss can feel so real to someone who has gone through a loss. She is living with her step dad who she struggles calling, “Dad” her development through recognising family is not just in blood is a great lesson to a reader no matter what age.
This book desperately wants me to make a difference in the world. It shows that no matter what age, you can make a difference. So, go out into the world and make your mark, positively.
